How to leave a Warframe clan

You do not need to remain in a community that no longer fits your schedule or expectations. Before changing clans, save the contact details you want to keep and finish any commitments you have made to a group. If your goal is simply a break, ask whether the clan offers an absence arrangement; a change of activity does not always need a permanent departure.

Leave through the clan menu

Official support directs players to Pause → Communication → Clan, select their own name, choose Leave Clan, and confirm. Menu interaction can differ by platform. Check the linked support instructions if your interface or leadership role makes the option unavailable.

Take care with leadership and the last member

Founding Warlords need to arrange succession before leaving a populated clan. Leaving an empty clan can permanently destroy it, and contributed resources are not returned to personal inventory. Read the official instructions before confirming an action that affects other players.

Write down who will handle recruitment, community moderation, and external website access. Your in-game successor does not automatically receive every Discord role or directory account. Transfer those responsibilities through the appropriate services, and avoid sharing a single password as a shortcut.

Move without carrying old problems forward

Explain your availability clearly to the next recruiter and confirm that there is a place for you. Do not assume a public Discord link guarantees immediate acceptance. If you previously managed a directory listing, contact support when you no longer represent that clan. Keep a departure explanation factual; publishing private disagreements rarely helps either community.
