Choose before you apply

Start with two or three communities whose active hours and expectations fit your normal week. A good application begins with a good match: your platform, usual playing window, language, and preferred activities should align with what the recruiter describes. Browse beginner-friendly clans if you want patient teaching, or use the directory filters to make a narrower shortlist.

Contact the right person

A Discord invite opens a community server; it is not an invitation into the in-game clan. Find its recruitment channel and follow the posted process. Give your exact in-game name, platform, usual hours, and a short explanation of what you want from a clan. Avoid sending the same application to many recruiters while leaving everyone uncertain about your decision.

For example: “I play on PC around 19:00–22:00 UTC, mostly on weekdays. I am looking for relaxed progression groups and can follow the posted inactivity policy. Are you currently accepting members?” Adjust the details to your situation.

Arrange the invitation

An authorized clan recruiter sends the in-game invitation. Check the clan name before accepting, especially where several communities have similar names. If it does not arrive, check the exact account identifier with the recruiter and confirm platform compatibility. Do not share a password or let a recruiter sign into your account.

Make your first week useful

Ask where introductions, scheduled groups, rules, and beginner questions belong. Set one modest goal with other members instead of trying to join every activity immediately. Confirm how to access the Dojo and whom to ask about research permissions. If the atmosphere differs from the advertisement, discuss it politely before deciding whether to stay.
