Ask what happened during a typical recent week and what is planned next. A recruiter should be able to describe normal activity without disclosing private member information. You might ask how a new member finds a group on a weekday evening or who organizes a recurring session.

Do not demand private logs or a membership export. A straightforward explanation and a chance to participate are more useful than collecting screenshots about strangers.

Interpret directory signals carefully

Public-source dates describe observed recruitment activity. Bumps and recommendations describe interaction with this website. Claimed status indicates management access. Each signal answers a different question, and none is a guarantee of the clan’s current in-game attendance or quality.

Use those signals to choose whom to contact, then confirm current recruitment and playing hours directly. A complete owner-maintained listing may offer more detail, but it should still match the experience members describe.

Choose reliable activity over impressive totals

A few people who regularly share your schedule can provide a better experience than a large group you never meet. Ask what happens when the main organizer is away and whether another member can help newcomers. Consistency and clear expectations matter more than a claim to be online all the time.

Start with the directory and use the time-zone guide to check overlap. If the first visit is unusually busy or quiet, ask whether it reflects a normal week before drawing a conclusion.
